Now that the second Monday night wars have started, will WWE improve?

A bit early to say that, but NJPW is very close to being legit competition. And if WWE doesn't improve, there's a very good chance they'll become #2 in the near distant future.

If they get a good time slot they'd give wwe a run for their money, but currently no chance in hell they'll ever catch up

Honestly, NJPW was a company I never paid any attention to for the longest time, but with WWE just putting out bad product after bad product, and stifling the growth of NXT into a truly powerful, third brand, New Japan is definitely headed to the top of the United States market. GFW/Impact/TNA/NWA-TNA/WCW2 might get a bit of shine if they decide to do business with them, but the bloom's been long off the rose with them, so NJPW will most likely be seen as #2 in the U.S. market very soon, on the broader scale outside of just /asp/ and general wrestling fans.

I am excited to see if they expand into U.S. territory. The one thing that actually makes Vince think is when a new rival is in town, so maybe a few years down the line we'll see the WWE product pick up again, especially when their television contracts come up for renewal.

Imagine how absolutely insane it'd be for USA Network to genuinely consider picking up New Japan. Literally, a company named "New Japan Pro Wrestling" potentially airing on a network named after the United States, threatening to replace the #1 U.S. and global wrestling brand for 18 years running, because the brand has become so stale and boring. Not that that'd actually be feasible, since Raw and SDL are still seen as prime advertisement airtime. So many people who normally watch USA Network for WWE but also other shows would feel so dumbfounded and wouldn't even give NJPW a chance, just like when WCW went down their loyal fanbase never even gave WWE a chance.

One could dream, though. One could dream.
