I think that's because he's always asked to shoot on wcw and based on those it's clear he regrets taking the money to go to a shitshow where he was annoyed with everything and had to work with idiots he hated.

As a Hennan/Hogan follower he was always distrusting of Hogan and thought he was a phony. So it was natural for him to question Hogan's motives when he came out.
