Okay, realistically, I'm sure hardly anyone on this board has been to a PWG show, but what about other indy promotions local to you? Have you been to a show? Do you go regularly? What's it like?

I went to a PCW (Pacific Coast Wrestling) show recently. Pic related, John notMorrison and RVD. My first indy show, second wrestling show ever after SD live 2/15/17. Lots of fun, I didn't know what to expect. Every match just flew by. The thing I didn't realize is that when wrestlers are brawling on the floor, nobody can see shit. It's also really fun to yell/chant things at people when they can actually hear you. You don't notice stuff like that watching at home.

I saw Lio Rush and Sami Callihan there. It'll be cool to see them again under the PWG banner.

Show up early. Did you get standing room or GA? If you got GA then get there fucking early. Some assholes will be lined up by 4pm, 6 is a decent time but if you want decent seats the earlier the better. No video allowed, photos are ok. You will get frisked before going in, don't bring in any food drinks or gum, that will be disposed off. Listen to Larry or he will embarrass you or kick you the fuck out.

If you get hungry there's a taco truck by the CVS that has really good tacos. Run during intermission and get some food, eat fast and you should make it back before it starts up again. PWG has this massively over blown reputation for being this bastion of Indy Wrestling unseen anywhere else. I live in Austin Texas and our local Indy "WrestleCircus" runs here monthly and every single wrestler that works PWG works WrestleCircus except the Young Bucks and that's due to their ROH contract that only allows them to work ROH, PWG, and NJPW. Pic is last week's card. Chucky T has also been in the last few months and Kieth Lee is from Austin. I'm sure going to PWG is cool, but it's not some unique experience that can't be had any where else. It's over priced based solely on this over hyped reputation built up online.
