The greatest strikers in pro wrestling history are Roman Reigns, Christian, and Bret Hart.
prove me wrong
Roman's corner clotheslines look like he's repeatedly giving the opponent a hug.
>>2797093
>the greatest boxers were wrestlers
>>2797093
for my money the undertaker is the greatest pure striker in wwe history
>>2797252
You actually believed Michael Cole when he said this.
123 Kid and Tajiri had them deadly martial arts kicks. Educated feet as good ol JR would say
LOL maybe I am not in on this meme but Christian? Wtf why Christian?
>>2797281
Carter always posts about Christian. He actually thinks he was good and a draw
>>2797255
i am michael cole
>>2797290
He was. Retard
>>2797301
He was a shit version of Edge and had to go to TNA
>>2797093
Bret Hart threw good punches, so did Razor Ramon and Vader. Vader was known to throw live rounds but he was said he could take them too.
Anything Bret did was excellently executed. Like his kicks and dropkicks, things of beauty. Punches were great, looked really good but didn't hurt the boys.
And that elbow from the 2nd rope, i.e., the Bret rope. Nobody comes close, not even Austin.
>>2797093
goldberg is the GOAT striker
>>2797307
18+
>>2797093
What about Kane?
>>2797093
>Christian
Fuck no.
Fucking faggots talking about strikes in wrestling and not mentioning fucking Daisuke Ikeda.

You motherfuckers want stiff you got stiff.
>>2797093
>>2797612
being a good striker in pro wrestling means you're good at worked punches meaning you're not actually supposed to hurt the guy, but it looks and sounds like it does.
Are we talking pure striking? Because if so only one man comes to mind.
>>2797644
Jerry Lawler.
>>2797093
Taker and Shane O'Mac
>>2797638
The only people who should give a shit if a punch hurts or not are the wrestlers themselves. If you're judging a wrestler on whether or not they're safe you've gone so meta you ended up right back at the start with your head up your ass.
Also a good striker; Original Tiger Mask post-NJPW.
>>2797681
Unironically this
>>2797093
>No Scott Hall
Are you serious? Scott Hall arguably punched better than Bret. Kurt Angle had a similar style. Arn Anderson was always great.
Sheamus and Cesaro are alright, Sheamus gets a little too real with his kicks to Jeff Hardy's head though. And if you only counted real hits, you'd have to include Jinder 'Balor Killer' Mahal. That concussion bought him a WWE title run. WCW Goldberg was also fun to watch for that, in the sense that he was so green he'd sometimes fuck people up for real (lookin' at you, Bret).
As much as JBL was a boring fatass, that clothesline from hell was fun to watch
Honorable mentions to Big Bossman and Austin.

TRIPS OF TRUTH
>>2798202
>watched prime Hall
>thinks Reigns is even decent
>>2798215
Scott Hall said Reigns was the money of the Shield in 2014.
Hall knows talent, and he was right.
>>2798232
"the money of the shield"
very high praise right there
>>2798232
>record low ratings and ticket sales
>>2798242
kek, fucking destroyed
>>2798242
Hall's specific words during 2014 interview with Wade Keller were: "the other 2 guys (Ambrose and Rollins) are great performers but I see money in Roman Reigns."
To be honest I think anybody who knows talent would have picked Reigns to be the star of that group. Only delusional nerdy internet wrestling fans and workrate mark journalists believe in Ambrose and Rollins.
>>2797093
Carder is up there whether you like it or not
>>2798269
those punches are fucking shane tier. carder's are terrible.
>getting worked by michael cole
>getting worked by bret hart's top tier selling
jesus christ man

>>2798421
I did earlier in the thread. Daniel Bryan in a recent interview seems to think Lawler throws the best punch as well
>>2798202
Throws like a girley man. Worse than John Morrison punches.
>>2798468
>most over
>lunatic cringe
in your dreams maybe
>>2797093
I can't
>>2797093
Goldberg was clearly a better striker than Hart.
>>2797347
What the fuck are kicks and clotheslines if not strikes?
>>2799587
>>2799660
strikes refer to punches you fucking ''''''''''smart''''''''''' mark dumbass
>>2799694
Pretending to be retarded isn't bait anymore.
>>2799707
then why are you doing it
>>2799710
This is implying I'm pretending, but you're genuinely retarded. Well done.
>>2799694
No, a strike is any physical blow from an appendage, so kicks and clotheslines count as well. Don't be a fucktard
>>2799694
A punch is a strike. A kick is a strike. A knee, forearm, headbutt, all strikes.
Big show
Roman Reigns is unironically the greatest of all time
>>2797093
>not taker
>regularly referred to as "the greatest pure striker in the history of wwe"
>come the fuck on
Name a better pure striker.
