7 days remain until arguably, one of the most important events in Wrestling history will occur in Long Beach, California. No, not Wrestlemania, not Summerslam or the Royal Rumble. But NJPW's long-anticipated debut on American soil. The events that occur next weekend will dictate the next few years of professional wrestling, whether NJPW succeeds and makes a roaring impression or falls flat on its face so the WWE monopoly continues. If you have ever been curious or interested in checking out the NJPW product, there's no better time to check it out than next weekend. Management, the boys, the staff, every single individual involved will try to make this the best show possible. Granted, the card is questionable and like all major promotions, not every decision made is perfect but we should expect the utmost of effort from every wrestler involved. There will be incredible matches, this stacked show promises to be an excellent one. I ask of you /asp/, to at least give this event a watch. Competition has always brought out the best in companies. Who walks out with the title? What matchups will be set up? Which brand new face stands out amongst the whole tournament? Will NJPW fail or succeed in this admittedly ambitious task? All of these questions will be answered next weekend. One thing's for certain. It's a damn good time to be a wrestling fan.
