Have his on screen and off screen personality match. Have him start adoring Reigns, and be a heel. Then eventually Reigns gets cocky, and Haitch starts getting a bit jealous, and angry when Reigns says he's better.

He beats Reigns for the title, and then drops it at elimination chamber, just before Mania to some indie-darling underdog. (think Ambrose at Roadblock) That underdog fights Reigns, and then HHH fights someone else at Mania. Reigns cheats to win at Mania, and weasels his way into winning the rematch. Triple H comes out and gives the indie-darling another match, and tells Reigns that if he cheats he will be stripped of the title. Reigns demands the stipulation that if he wins, he chooses the next number 1 contender. Come the next PPV, Reigns cheats to win again. Triple H comes out and strips him of the title.

The next night Roman says that since he won the match he gets to choose the Number 1 contender -- he chooses himself. The indie-darling goes on to win some other feud at Summerslam, and Reigns wins the title clean from some other guy. Triple H gets into a feud with Angle over control of Raw, and Angle wins. (Angle is the heel) Reigns and Angle team up, and basically become the New Authority. Reigns retains throughout Night of Champions, HiaC, and then we get to Survivor Series. The Indie Darling has finished one or two feuds since Summerslam, and wants a match with Reigns for the title. Both Angle and Reigns say no. Triple H returns for the first time since his defeat, and announces that he never got a rematch at Wrestlemania 32, and he's giving his rematch clause to the indie-darling. Next week Vince comes out, and the Survivor Series match is between Team Triple H and Team Angle for control of Raw: HHH wins. The indie darling beats Reigns too.

After winning the rematch at TLC, the indie-darling turns heel, and attacks Triple H saying he didn't need his help. He brutalizes him, and it looks like a young man beating up a frail old man. HHH

Triple H stops showing up on TV after the heel turn. And the Indie-darling beats John Cena or Brock Lesar at the Royal Rumble, to really cement how strong he is. Then Triple H returns at number 31 in the Royal Rumble, and wins. Number 30 is furious that Triple H used his own power to win for himself, so he holds a battle royal next week, and the winner gets to fight him for his mania match. Number 30 wins it, but loses to Haitch. Then the indie-darling and Triple H fight at Mania. Triple H wins, and then goes on to beat Reigns too. He drops the title due to Money in the Bank, and never bothers getting a clean rematch. Instead, Angle is in a redemption arc, and Triple H comes out to save him at the last minute. He goes into this other storyline, and doesn't bother challenging for the title again.

This is how the Roman-HHH feud should've went, actually. I mean practically HHH WAS the face. I'm pretty sure Haitch was realising this himself, DX chops are usually a signature of a face Triple H. Just switch the Roman attacks HHH while he's getting into the SUV with Stephanie with the HHH beats up Roman.

Angle. You could start the feud you mentioned here, but Angle wins. It can start with Kurt pissing off Stephanie in some way, so you have HHH vs Angle at mania, HHH loses so Angle keeps control and this kicks off the feud towards survivor series. At first it looks like the face (Kurt) wins but this doesn't turn out to be the case as he turns heel.

Like, during his Summerslam match with Brock, Trippple Man assaults Reigns on the ramp.

Leads to a Survivor Series rematch of their Wrestlemania match, plays out like the Brock/Goldberg match, and Roman goes for a quick victory but gets beaten in 1.10, with a single pedigree. Cheers of "THANK YOU HUNTER" will erupt.

Reigns comes out on Raw and claims he was blindsided, demands another match at the next PPV, Trippple Man refuses, Reigns instead gets beaten clean by Braun or Big Cass. Reigns goes full heel, attacks babyfaces backstage, etc.

Trippple Man comes out and says he's owed a tiebreaker match, at Wrestlemania. Winner takes all, loser leaves the company.

He beats him in 10 minutes in a non-main event match, Reigns is forced to leave the company.

Triple H vs Roman seems like it could have been an amazing feud. It's a shame they just tossed it together at the last minute; they should have had an actual reason to hate each other, like a betrayal or something, instead of Triple H just hating Reigns because ones a face and the other heel.

Seth was booked like a super face, like nearing old SuperCena levels. He beat HHH, beat his henchman Joe both CLEAN, yet the minute he comes out he puts the crowds to sleep. Deanetty had a mega push, killed ratings worse than anyone else of the current era. The booking is shit, but the current "stars" are absolute garbage and it shows how big someone from the Attitude Era or even Ruthless Aggression coming back results in giant pops when you compare it to the pops the Shieldetties, Balor, Islami Zayn or anyone else gets.

That and because of the Mcmahons. They constantly shoehorned their way into every one of his angles, so instead of getting a legit feud against Angle or Jericho, they got to play tag-along in Haitch/Steph drama.

Plus he would have superseded Austin if he hadn't torn his quad. People were cheering him over Austin at No Way Out, even though he was the heel.
