The best part of the show was a promo by Maria.
Think about that. That's where WWE is now.
>The best part of the show was a promo by Maria.
Jesus, dude. I like New Japan too, but come on. That was actually the only part of the PPV that was OBJECTIVELY bad.
The show was fine, you mark.
It's probably moreso people who think you can't like both NJPW and WWE like a normal human being.
I'm happy the poo in the loo saga continues and satisfied that Sami Zayn didn't win.
watching modern wrestling is abusive.
why do you still do this to yourself?
>My face at all the Obese Weeb Smarks SEETHING
Whatever nigga, you know you'll be back for the next one.
Guess the HR lady at work is right, I'm a masochist
>tfw you realize WWE is dying a slow and painful death
It was entertaining enough. Just entertaining enough.
No, it's really an okay show.
It's a little slow and if you skipped some of the midcard stuff you wouldn't miss out, but the two MITB matches were fun enough and the New Day put on a really good performance.
This is how I've felt about WWE since right around the time Seth was injured. I don't really think Seth had anything to do with it, I just remember starting to think that around that time.
Looking back, I guess Punk's 2011 run melding into Bryan's push and Brock's return, and the rise and fall of the Shield kind of gave me a high that lasted for a few years, but it's all spent now and there's nothing that's interesting anymore.
Liked it. Given I was there, so I was hype af the whole time
>Based Carmellsworth going over
>Tag Title match being good despite New Day's awfulness
>Mike and Maria working the marks
>MAHARAJAH MAN retained
>Big Bants Baron actually won too
Good show. Maybe not as good as Backlash, but still pretty fucking good.
Solid 7/10. The main problem was shit endings. Matches overall were enjoyable.
I just tried watching it and it was painful
>Normally skip through PPVs over a couple of matches but only ended up watching a total of 10 minutes of this one
>Crowd looked sparse, attendees looked sickly
>No pop at all, no chanting, the crowd seemed bored and depressed
>The anxiety of performing for a silent crowd led to many botches
>Fatigue and uncertainty gripped the commentators
I watched this and all I could think was "This is what a dying company looks like." Vince made a lot of mistakes that "made sense" on paper. But it's hard to see that when I watch this. All I see is a crowd of cuckolds and their wife's sons confronted with the monster they created and they're all thinking it's time to abandon ship.
>Triple H : " We really have to top Dominion , and put on the most amazing show of them all "
>Vince : " Say no more "
The more WWE keeps doing shitty PPVs , the better it is for NJPW
