is it just me or are the phenomenal forearm and the superman punch literally the exact same move? jump, punch, voila. does vince even try anymore?
whats wrong with them being the same move? everyone does suplexes and ddts and kicks
Vince wants his wrestlers to be watered down because the braindead e-drones only remember MOMENTS.

true, but those are just a move everyone uses. AJ's known for the phenomenal forearm and Roman's known for the superman punch, and they're billed as completely different signature moves even though they're exactly the same thing. just seems lazy.

the phenomenal forearm is done by jumping off a top rope, not turnbuckle, top rope
the superman punch is just a jumping punch with "theatrics"
Not really.
PFA is a leap off the top rope and is using the wrestler's momentum to drive the forearm into the head.
Superman Punch is jumping from a relatively much shorter height and distance and just throwing a punch, which isn't really how a Superman Punch works or how punching in general works.
Besides which, AJ's been doing the PFA forever before he came to WWE, so it's almost certainly a coincidence. And they both look really cool, so what the fuck's the problem.

At least AJ throws in a springboard sometimes.

I agree they look cool, it's definitely still satisfying either way but to me it's kinda just a jump/launch then an arm is thrust forward. idk.

A punch and a forearm feel pretty distinctive to me, honestly.
If Roman was doing a real superman punch, they'd be completely different, 'cause a real superman punch is feinting a jumping knee then immediately switching to a punch. imo that'd be a lot cooler, but Roman's not exactly know for his jumping knees.

just actually laughed out loud cause that made me think 'mexican jumping knees'
