RAINMAKERU!!!!
Is this the greatest move in the world right now?
"no"
>>2769925
>greatest move
>he needs to hit it 10 times to win a match
>>2769946
Yeah in an event equivalent to the WM main event.
In normal matches 1 is enough.
Unlike WWE where they now have to hit multiple finishers on Raw.
>>2769974

It's still a good point. The question was
>Is this the greatest move in the world RIGHT NOW?
It was the greatest move. It is no longer the greatest move. Okada's storyline right now is that he's getting too worn down/beat up by big match after big match. He's losing his edge, getting weaker. Because of that the Rainmaker is getting weaker, the finish is less protected.

It sucks that Omega doesn't care enough about his fans to come to wwe. When he finally does, he'll be out of his prime and we'll never see dream matches happen on the biggest stage of them all. Prime sting vs Taker never happened because sting was selfish. Seems like Omega's headed the same way.
>>2775429
>t. E drone
>>2775429
He's too short to be on the wwe. He fits perfectly in Japan.
>>2769925
>greatest
>has to hit it 5-6 times a match
>>2775429
>It sucks that Omega doesn't care enough about his fans to come to wwe.
He knows that if he does go to WWE he'll have no creative freedom and will be forced to do the same match over and over again week after week which would likely make people lose interest in him.
>>2769925
it's just a clothesline

Wrestling isn't a competitive sport. It's an art. In a sport, you want to play the best because you want to be the best. In art, you want to perform with the best because of the art and the fan. It's like if Beethoven and Mozart never performed with each other because Beethoven didn't like a certain venue. Think about how selfish that is. Omega has a chance to showcase himself on the biggest stage in the world, with the greatest talents in the world, and he chooses not to because he's worried about losing his character. He has a chance to be immortal, and he won't because of his selfish needs. He's not an artist. He's not even a wrestler, because even they want to perform with the best. He's nothing but a goddamn business man, looking out for his image and name.
his dropkick is the best though

>In art, you want to perform with the best because of the art and the fan
Yeah, but the art and the fans are both better in NJPW.
>>2775567
>you want to perform with the best because of the art and the fan
This is why Omega is staying in NJPW
>>2775539
From a guy with a noodle arm.
>>2775429
I'm waiting for the old man to die.
Then, with the company on the brink of collapse, and desperate for dimes, based king of kings will bring back King of the Ring as a multipromotional yearly event. Then we'll finally see Omega/AJ and The Rainmaker squash Ramen, while BNB returns to run roughshod over all the manlets in the UK division.
>>2769946
It's the Skull Crushing Finale of NJPW.
A finisher so weak you can kick out of it the first few times you use it.
>>2769974
>NJPW hits multiple finishers, smark cheers
>see the same thing done on RAW, smark boos
Smarks never make sense.
>>2775821
>NJPW has multiple finishers hit in the main event of their biggest show of the year
>WWE has finisher kickouts during meaningless filler matches on free TV
Do you often have trouble understanding context?
>>2775567
You should actually try watching NJPW
the best thing about the rainmaker is that it can be countered in man creative ways.
>>2775567
That sounds like a man of integrity, not selfish.
Wrestling exists at the intersection of sports and art. The competition is being the match/performer that everyone remembers. Kenny prides himself on the matches he has and the character he presents. In an ideal world, since wrestlers are independent contractors anyway, he wouldn't have to worry as much about switching companies like that. But WWE seems to want to get away from wrestling like MTV wanted to get away from music.
Kenny is also betting on being a key figure in the perceived "Rise of New Japan" on the world stage. It remains to be seen if they'll keep this trajectory or take the ROH route and cling to their bingo halls...or Japanese Domes in this case.
Yes, and it is more high impact than any "sports entertainment" finisher.
>>2775399
Omega's OWA on Okada at Dominion was really great , the way he blocked his arm so he can't escape once again .
Is this the move devastating move in the world right now?
>>2775924
most*
>>2769932
Even red shoes marking the fuck out
>>2769925
E-Drone here, it's great, but not the greatest
>>2769925
Are people supposed to believe that a clothesline from a skinny spaghetti arm with no strength is the most devastating move of NJPW?
>>2776076
>Okada
>no strength
He piledrivered Fale
>>2776115

Tombstone on Fale multiple times in various matches while weak ass Reigns cannot even pick up Taker. Fale weighs far more than a geriatric Taker.

Dear god we're literally devolving pro wrestling if there are marks who unironically believe the rainmaker is the best move in the world today. Jesus Christ.
>>2776138
>that German Suplex
Based GOATkada
>>2769925
I don't think so.
>>2776192
That is how you sell a finisher.
Obligatory
>>2771089
Fuck that looks botched af
>>2776378
Don't think you know what a botch is
>>2775817
>hits 6 finishers
>look guys no one kicks out of it
>>2776397
You know that Okada has matches OTHER than the Wrestle Kingdom highlights you watched on YouTube right?
>>2776397
Found the e mark. Unlike WWE, NJPW doesn't require that all their wrestlers get all their moves in. Another reason why WWE matches are predictable and a bore.
>>2776414
just showing you the fact it ISNT the greatest move in the world right now. in fact less people kicked out of dirty deeds than rainmaker. just point out facts sorry if it triggers you mark
>>2776422
By this logic Santino's Cobra is a GOAT finisher
>>2776433
can think of dbry kicking out of the cobra off the top of my head
>>2776422
E baby needs an education on history. How many people kicked out of the Rainmaker during Okada's first three years? One (it was Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom). After those years the only others to kick out of it were Omega (on two occasions) and Naito (once).
>Dirty Deeds
Get out of here Dean cuck
>less people kicked out of dirty deeds than rainmaker.
3 Rainmaker kickouts
3 Dirty Deeds kickouts (at least)
look @ the fucking bridge on this and tell me he is not the best
>>2776461
>Obligatory one word meme reply
I rest my case
>>2776492
Gable's is better.
>>2776492
looks pretty flat desu, pretty sad Alicia fooooooooooox can bridge better
>A FUCKING WOMAN
>>2776501
gable is literally 5'6 that's cheating
>>2776501
No, it's not.
>>2776520
The difference is that you were provided with clear indisputable facts in said reply destroying your argument. A pity you have no critical thinking skills, but that is typical of a wwe lemming. I dare say it is you who was worked... cuck.
>>2776551
Bringing politics into the fold? Who's worked now? You're heating up nicely, but don't leave now!
>>2775429
???? at this point going to the WWE is going to Roman's land.
>>2769925
Cringing so hard right now
>>2771089
That's Just-in Credible!
>>2775429
>dream matches
With? Sloppy Joe? Bork? Orton? WWE doesn't have anyone good enough for him. Look at AJ, he's surrounded by trash.
>>2780694
I like how you're pretending lazy shitters like Orton & Bork are dream match calibur
Neither of them are even in Top 10 on the roster
>>2780698
Except Orton vs Okada WOULD be a money match.
The pose off, the insane RKO-RAINMAKER counters, the dropkicks, the Orton giving a shit since he's wrestling a non-shitter poo in the loo or fedora lord
Randy Keith Orton vs Rainmaker Kazuchika Okada is like a license to print money.
>>2780698
Randy is not a bad wrestler, when he has a good opponent and gives a shit he's great. He knows how to tell a story in the ring quite well and him vs Okada couls be great. Not WK11 Omega vs Okada great, but still great
>>2781720
>Orton
>money
*snicker*
>le motivated Randy meme
Okada wrestles guys better than Orton nearly every month. When the G1 starts he'll be doing it every other night.
>>2776232
yoooooooooooo
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODS
>>2781727
>He knows how to tell a story in the ring quite well
The only story he knows is "...Headlock".
Please, show me an example of this storytelling.
Ideally one that's actually recent.
