Yeah I agree with this 2004 is the last great year. 05-06 was still good if you ignore putting main event as original jobber turned world champ JBL and FatHaitch.

2007 it started to go really go down here with a bunch of OVW generic CAW factory.

2005 and 2006 were better than 2004 and the ratings reflect that. 2004 was transitional year and business was in toilet. 05 & 06 were the Cena & Batista era & numbers went up. NEW STARS are life blood of industry. 2007 also a decent year. The change happened in Summer 2008 when they went PG.

I would personally say 2006. Wrestling was slightly popular again and it was nice seeing the new guys on top. '07 was comfy but not as memorable and a little weird at times. WWE became unbearable in 08 but I stuck through it. I gave up on WWE the following year.
