>I love the live events. I hate TVs, TVs I just want to bash my skull into the camera. They’re just long, useless time-wasting bullshit days where you sit around all day for some friggin’ idea that just sucks. Debating it for hours with 17,000 inputs you know, 1 or 2 guys laced up a pair of wrestling boots know what they are talking about. The others that never laced up a pair and don’t know shit for some reason they are telling you what to do. And you’re just sitting there baffled, like we all have that look at TV, we walk around baffled like, ‘Well why are we doing this?’
>>
Based. Stamford wives seething
>>
Is this supposed to make people happy he hasn't taken off the boots yet?

PLEASE RETIRE CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP
>>
>>2757227
>>2757231
tbf if he was booked more like kane no one would want him to retire
>>
>>2757183
based Beeg, he knows Vince can't shit on him worse than he already did so he shoots about whatever he wants
>>
>>2757237
>booked more like Kane
Corporate Beeg when?
>>
>>2757237
Yeah, the same guy that tried to chokeslam beeg and shaq in wm and he looked just like the hurricane, and hasn't appeared in camera for months
>>
He says what we're all thinking
>>
>>2757183
And yet, when wrestlers book shows themselves it always end up being a disaster.

Listen to the writers bro, they didn't get their liberal arts degree for nothing, they know what they're doing.
>>
>>2757255
Didn't Matt Hardy entirely book Total Nonstop Deletion?
That was a great trainwreck of a show
>>
>>2757255
Pretty sure he doesn't mean that you idiot
>>
>>2757262
>The others that never laced up a pair and don’t know shit for some reason they are telling you what to do.
So what the fuck did he mean by this you megacuck. He's saying writers are idiots and wrestlers shouldn't have to listen to them.

Still salty after all these years, based writers putting the New Year's baby in his place.
>>
>>2757267
He's saying dumb fuck hollywood writers don't have a clue what they're doing you braindead cunt
>>
>>2757259
Anything Broken Matt related was GOLD.
>>
>>2757282
wasn't Vince Russo a Hollywood writer? He literally saved wrestling
>>
>>2757282
I know.

I'm saying Big Show should listen to them because wrestlers who go into booking are even more fucking clueless, see WCW.

>lmao good joke
without Stone Cold v McMahon WWE would've died and what happened to WCW was inevitable
Only hope there would've been was ECW getting a TV deal
>>
>>2757294
What? He owned two video stores and and had a failed show about wrestling on local radio, he never had any Hollywood credit.
>>
>I think a lot of that please retire stuff was the fans just really sick of how they were using me on TV.
>Our fans are pretty smart and pretty intelligent about what's going on.
>It's not that they don't like the person, they just don't like being done.

Beeg gets it. Based.
>>
>>2757255
imo, you need a mix.

Wrestling people with experience in what gets over with crowds and knowledge of how promos should be timed and delivered, and professional writers with professional experience in storytelling. Real ones, not the dumbass soap opera rejects they got now.
>>
>>2757183
Can't wait until he leaves.

The shoot interviews with him will be great.
>>
>>2757559
Three out of seven writers right now are ex-wrestlers, it could be worse in that regard.
>>
>>2757573
I mean I think right now the problem is Vince, not any individual member of the staff, so, this is academic.
>>
>>2757255
>Listen to the writer bro,

Fixed. You need ONE writer for the whole show. A couple of road agents and a promoter to let him know when something is possible and when it isn't. And that's it.

Too many writers is like too many cooks in the kitchen.
>>
>>2757588
There are only two writers per show and like 15 producers, if you want to complain about too many cooks, that's where it should be pointed.
>>
>>2757588
You should have a writer for each division.

Main event
mid card belt
Womens
Manlets

Then whoever does well based on ratings for their segment gets moved up until the best writer is doing the main event.

Anyone who does poorly, is fired...

out of a cannon.
>>
>>2757183
The thing about the writers WWE has is that not only do they give zero fucks about wrestling they are also the lowest of the low, we're talking rejects that couldn't get a job writing anywhere else. This is a common problem in the WWE when it comes to non-wrestler employees, despite being a huge multi-million dollar company their production values are laughably low.
>>
>>2757666
'Cept the video packages.

Those guys seem to have genuine passion for what they do.
>>
>>2757778
The t-shirt designers are pretty good these days too. But their "TV" guys are garbage, and I mean everything from their graphical design to their venue decorating, their entire presentation is rubbish.

Writing wrestling isn't hard, though. Vince is making it more complicated than it needs to be. Look at the difference between NXT storylines and the main roster.

Isn't NXT booked by like 3 people and that's it?
>>
>>2758465
>Vince is making it more complicated than it needs to be

Which is odd because he, Patterson, and I forget who else, were the weekly-bookers for RAW during its heyday. They would meet and book every week; so, he clearly knows how to keep things simple.

However, he's hiring the wrong writers and producers -- or, if not him, then Steph/Haitch are.

NXT has the benefit of being a smaller and shorter show.
>>
>>2758473
Vince was a younger and more in tune with things that were hip, he especially jumped on the offensive Jerry Springer trash tv, but along the way he has lost it. Jesus he is close to 75 years old isn't he. No wonder 55 year olds watch it more than anybody.
>>
>>2757183
nice
>>
>>2758473
Bookers and writers are different things. You know this right?

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL
IT'S THE BASED SHOW
>>
>>2757240
He's also making a fucking fortune, last I checked he was on a 7 figure contract, and he doesn't seem like an extravagant guy so he's probably leaves most of it sitting in the bank. Even if Vince fired him he wouldn't exactly be strapped for cash.
>>
>>2757240
Big has made his money and has said once his contract expires he's done. I don't think he gives a fuck about stepping on anyone's toes.
>>
>>2759679
>>2759683
Big's net worth is 20 million and he's 46. Definitely deserves to retire, sucks since that would mean losing another alpha who isn't a vanilla midget
>>
>It was the worst angle ever. It felt like I was doing some weird billionaire fetish porn. I can just imagine Vince sitting there watching it in a dark room going "YEAH NOW TAKE A DUMP IN THAT DIAPER YOU FAT PIECE OF SHIT! YEAH!!!"
Him on being dressed as baby new year. Kek
