Nice picture of a WWE get together. It's safe to assume that you will all be heading to the FEMA camps too?

I usually like Snow's perspective, but he's 100% wrong.
He's defining the "best" wrestling matches purely based on what is financially best, which a viewer doesn't care about unless they're an obese, fedora-wearing smark (like everyone on /asp/ who talks about "drawing dimes")
Whether you agree with his specific rating or not, Meltzer is obviously providing a resource for consumers. It doesn't matter that he's never been in the business because he's speaking AS a consumer FOR consumers when rating match quality.

Stop making this thread. It has been discussed ad nauseam and there is nothing left to add. Stop being such a faggot.
I would ask Al these few questions.
1. Where do main eventers come from?
2. Where do most of the clips WWE uses to hype itself come from?
3. Where is the best match of the night usually found?
The answer to all three is the mid-card. The mid-card is the most important match on the card because it represents the future. Fans have already paid to see the main event. The mid-card is there to ensure they will continue to come back.
WWE's complete disregard for mid-card feuds in recent years has coincided with plummeting ratings. I do not think this is a coincidence.

Those are either anti-smarks or just trolls. Smarks are generally the ones that care about match quality.

So Al Snow rates matches and workers purely on how many tickets they sold, yet he never sold a ticket in his life. He must hate himself.
