modern judo is pretty good,

Traditional judo was better. They got so focused on the Olympic game they forgot about Kano's vision

Is it good for MMA? I'm thinking of joining a regional promotion but I have only 4 years of amateur boxing

Depending on how you are trained and how you can mix the 2 there are certainly good synergies

You could be a Dirty box MMA fighter similar to how Randy Couture/Dan Kelly implement their grapples and boxing


You could be a submission artist similar to Ronda Rousey/Karo Parysian

More of a mid range striker/counter grappler like Sexyama
