That's what most NJPW "small shows" are like because this is a small show, basically the go-home show for the one on 6/11.

Both to preserve their bodies because obviously a match with a bunch of guys spreads out the workload, and to save big matches for when they're important. Outside of tournaments and championship matches, NJPW doesn't do a whole lot of singles matches like WWE.

Though maybe this is a positive, since the majority of people in WWE you've seen fight each other one on one ten times, it's no longer meaningful.

It is positive, because for example Dominion match between Kenny and Okada is the SECOND time they meet in singles match. First was their WK match second is half a year later.
