I watch a lot of different wrestling, from Lou Thesz stretching people to Abdullah Kobayashi doing crazy hardcore Jap things. A lot of people are not going to be able to appreciate an early 80s AJPW match. It's a totally different style of wrestling. Unless you're Dave Meltzer or an actual Jap who grew up watching the stuff, it takes some adjusting.

Monday Night Raw 2015 to Present. Usually fall asleep during the ads they show after the first 20 to 30 minute segment thats at the start of the show, just as the bell rings for the first match my eyes struggle to stay open and there's still 2 and a half hours left.

Val Venis used to do that, I think I remember others doing it but not for a long time. Val would irish whip an opponent to the ropes but rumn after them to strike them from behind. IIRC he does it in a SummerSlam match vs D'lo Brown (who nearly drozdov's Val with the same running powerbomb.)
