WWE is actually not stupid for putting him in the top guy role, he has a great look and is an above average worker. The problem is they go about it in the stupidest and laziest way:
>fuck a cool new theme song, just give him a shittier version of The Shield theme
>let's have him give cheesy, Cena-esque promos about beanstalks and tater tots
>fuck his role as badass enforcer that got him over in the first place, he's now an underdog because we say so
>give him blue eye contacts, because that's not weird at all (granted, this hasn't been an issue for awhile)
>give him clean wins against people who have beaten him before on free TV, instead of at PPVs with built-up storylines
>sacrifice 3 years of booking just so you can build up to his Brock match for WM34, when you should have just put him over at WM31, or better yet, Royal Rumble 2014.
