Used to be a huge guy in a mask/facepaint, spiked hair and a questionable choice of attire as a kid. Now I go for a Dynamite Kid look and continue the Wild Pegasus name
>What's currently going on in your fed / universe / GM mode?
Playing Royal Road in VPW2. Did a year as Misawa and Tiger Mask, ended it with all titles in their possession, but Kobashi got the big Champion's Carnival win. Now playing as Pegasus, won the All Asia tag titles with Dr Death, and now I'm hoping I get a match with Tiger Mask down the line.

Day of Reckoning is never appreciated

Usually chokeslam - when I was a kid my CAW in WWF Smackdown 1 had a chokeslam that I had renamed to "Chokes of Hazard". In retrospect I think that was a somewhat clever pun considering I was like 8 or 9.

Recently I've been making masked wrestlers, my favourite is 'The Surgeon', seen in the centre of pic related. His finisher is the Mandible Claw of course.

Also pic related, I made a bunch of CAWs and arenas for a universe mode. It's nearly all done but I may have enjoyed creating all this more than I will the universe mode itself, I don't know much about how the universe mode in 2K17 works.

I love how much impact and weight there was to every move, even when you whiffed flying and strike moves it felt like you were killing your opponent. The newer games still don't get that right, if you don't hit the move flush, the move looks weak as shit

Yeah Showdown is cool but complicated. If you skip the music setup it's not so bad. The cool thing is that one is still actively being developed and they're bringing some features back from the older AKI games, like unmasking people.

Hopefully someone can get the MMA combo system ported over from VPW2 as well.

I too am learning the ways of Fire Pro. I was a little put off by the graphics at first but I can see now that depth and customization is where it shines.

Shooting Star Press and Spike DDT. Top rope powerbomb in any game that lets me use/create it.

Tough Enough 1 winner Maven Huffman. In literally every game since WWF X8 for the GameCube. It's mostly out of habit at this point.

I tried the TEW/EWR games but wow, they're so involved. It's a nice feeling when your angles actually get nice ratings. I'm re-booking some weird amalgamation of 2002-2004 Raw/SD with the main feuds being Rock/HBK and face Lesnar/heel Taker

It's between WCW Revenge, Fire Pro and SvR2007. When I was a kid I loved Smackdown 2 and I still do.

Chokeslam. Great move, simple and powerful. Also Jacknife Powerbombs

I don't usually make them, so when I do one it's mainly stupid shit like aliens or wrestlers with extremely fucked up proportions. In Smackdown 2 it was mainly making people like Hogan or Scott Hall, wrestlers that weren't in the game. I remember distinctly making a Goldust since all the parts and moveset were there already.

Showdown is too bloated with worthless jobbers and old timers whose entire moveset is punching and a body slam. The roster hinders the game more than it helps.

Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 but it's close. I'd say No Mercy but I love the roster on the former.
