What the fuck was Nash's problem?
>>
money and miles
>>
>>2630750
Talent holding the book and being drunk on more than power.
>>
>>2630750
You can talk shit about HBK all you want, but unlike the rest of his Kliq bitches, he actually loved the business.

Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were all about money and booze

Triple H was all about power

X-Pac was all about drugs and women. (Nigga has Hep-B and a fucking YEAST INFECTION recently)
>>
Really don't want to read the whole book to figure out what this is about.

Whats the problem with Nash?
>>
>>2631387
Nothing is wrong with Nash. Some people are just jealous of him and like to blame him for WWFs shit period
>>
>>2631402
Nash blames WWF for his shit WWF period
>>
>>2631321
No he didn't. The New Generation era would've been much better off if HBK didn't bury a good amount of the people he faced using backstage bullshit. He's arguably the worse of them all overall, though last couple WCW years Nash is probably worse in just booking.

>>2631387
>>2631402
Used his status as Kliq member to become WWF champ when he didn't deserve it. Along with HBK, worst drawing WWF champion of all time.

Started having a larger role when it came to booking decisions in the later years of WCW. Responsible for a lot of the decisions that turned people off from WCW.

Only positive of his career has ever been the fact that prowrestlers do get paid more overall in the big US promotions because of him and Hall.
>>
Sad thing is in the end..... the Kliq will rule.

Kevin Nash/Scott Hall took over WCW, gave it it's best ratings then took all the money and bankrupted the company

HHH married into power, change the narrative of any Kliq member to being something much bigger then they really were, put all of them minus X-Pac (One day) into the Hall of Fame and when Vince is dead, he is going to bring the whole Kliq over and they will control all of wrestling. Stephanie won't do shit, Shane is powerless.

They won.

As much as I hate to say it.
>>
>>2631715
Gotta give it to the Kliq; if Nash and Hall didn't go to WCW and cook up the nWo gimmick, who knows how wrestling would've turned out.
>>
>>2631897

>Does not go to WCW
>Does not force Vince's hand due to ratings war
>Kliq continues their shit in WWF well into 1996-1998
>Shawn dies in 1999 due to drug related problems
>Razor dies in 2000 due to drunk driving
>Triple H and Chyna get married and have a happy family after he retires in 2001, seeing as his future in wrestling is limited and done.
>Nash goes back to strip club bouncing
>X-Pac never happens, 1-2-3 Kid goes to Japan after 1996 and is never heard from again.

BONUS STAGE
>Bret Hart never has Montreal Screw Job, never gets kicked by Goldberg, becomes the Babe Ruth of WWE
>Owen never dies

I like this Earth-2 Kliq timeline better.
>>
>>2631914

>Bret Hart goes on to have some classic matches with Kurt Angle, John Cena, and beyond.
>In 2017, Bret is still healthy and can strap on his boots and go with the best of them still.

=(
>>
>>2631321
>shawn found jesus and became a decent person
>kev and scott are hugely responsible for helping wrestling to reach the peaks that it did in the late 90's
>haitch, the shittiest most boring member of the kliq, goes on to have the most successful career of the group
>let us face it at the time not many would have ever thought haitch would have been the most successful person from the kliq
>ex pack turns out to be the biggest degenerate chad from the kliq

Interesting group of wrestlers here. We won't ever really see anything like them again that is for sure. Nobody even remembers Undercarder's nothing faction kek.
>>
>>2631930
The bone street krew or some cringe shit like that
>>
>>2631930

and in a few years after Vince is dead, HHH will make sure we don't even know Undertaker, Bret Hart or many others even existed.

HHH will be the Hogan of the WWE in the post-Vince narrative with Shawn being some kind of Ravage Savage level. Hogan who? Bret who?

Their history will be erased like our knowledge of 50s and 60s wrestling during the 80s and 90s of WWF.

The Game won.
>>
>>2631930
Hogan is the reason why the NWO was over and his heel turn is what caused business to pick up. Nash and especially Hall were jabronis compared to Hogan.
>>
>>2631947

While the NWO was a big deal, Hogan really was that fine detail that put it over

There was not a single other person in that company that it could have been that would have worked. You needed a "Vince guy" to add to that "Were they sent by Vince to take over or not?", and no one was more of a Vince Guy then Hogan. Sting would not make sense, Luger would not make sense, Flair would not make sense, no one.
>>
>>2631999

ALTERNATE TIMELINE

>"Shawn, we will have Bret beat you in the Iron Man match and you can beat him at Summerslam after"
>Shawn quits after Mania due to not getting his way or the belt
>Joins WCW before Bash at the Beach 1996
>He is the third man
>Kliq rules WCW.
>>
>>2631930
>X-Pac
>Chad
Even Chyna had a bigger dick than him
>>
>>2631387
Booked ending Goldberg's streak with a tazer and the fingerpoke of doom. Initially tried to say he wasn't on creative for either which everyone knew wasn't true, eventually admitted to coming up with both.
>>
>>2632008
>Hogan beats all 3 at the following PPV
>HBGay draws no dimes.
>>
>>2632048
I feel like HBK being there with Hall and Nash would stir so much shit that they would have to bend, because if Hogan gets them fired for not playing ball, they will be back to square one with WCW 1994 and it's low rating and losing money with Hogan.

I think they would buckle to HBK, they can't lose him BACK to WWF
>>
>>2631947
True, but once you get past the fact that Hogan legitimized them and drew people in, Nash and Hall were definitely the best guys to be in it with him. They were cool as hell.
>>
>>2632048
It HAD to be Hogan. If not, he would have just bulldozed over the nWo and wrestling as a whole in America would have probably been dead by the mid 2000s.
>>
>>2631914
fuck man
>>
>>2632679
Real shit nigga.
>>
>>2632052
Hogan had creative control. If he wanted to go over, he was going over. He was the third man because he felt like it.
>>
>>2633957
Didn't he only decide to go through with it the day before and they had Sting as a back up?
>>
>>2633965
Essentially. Depends on who you want to believe. Nash and Hall have said they didn't know but heard Sting, Hogan said he always wanted in, and most others suggest hogan came to them saying he wanted in seeing how over the outsiders were getting.
>>
>>2631523
that's a big positive
>>
>>2633970

There was even rumors of Bret Hart at some point. I forgot hearing where that was sourced from.

If that was true, it's the only other person short of Hogan that could have worked.
>>
>people mentioning x-pac in this discussion is novel
