I think this is a funnier gimmick than Los Matadores.
Also, they weren't in any condition to refuse anything. It was this or getting future endeavoured.

They change gimmicks every year or two and are prime jobbers, I have nothing bad to say about them

Reminder that jobbers are a valuable asset to the company, and wins/losses mean nothing in a scripted tv show. They're doing a job they enjoy and are probably earning decent money too. When they are old they'll get to sit back and reminisce with their grandkids about the days they traveled the world and wrestled on TV.

There is literally nothing wrong with being a jobber.

It is part of the deal for their dad's library for the WWE network and probably some residual shit for the murder of Bruiser Brody of course. They will never be given anything because of that.
