Not at all. He's actuallu one case where you can point to that he wildly exceeded his potential on the wwe roster. Problem is he believed his own hype a bit near the end. He's nothing without wwe booking.

Sandow got over in SPITE of his WWE booking.

Nothing went wrong. They got everything from him that they could and dumped him.

I really have no idea.

I'm not even a fan of his and yet his MITB cash-in still made me sad.

He has a cringey personality and tries way too hard to be funny. Even on the UUDD youtube channel he was fucking horrible. He never should have won MITB over Cody Rhodes, ruined both their careers.

He got over without WWE approval
So they squashed him twice and future endeavored him

The MITB cash in killed him. He should've lost it due to interference from Cody or some shit. Even then he got very over as Mizdow but after the feud was done they did nothing with him.
