Nobody knows how Asuka feels, maybe it's one sided. Io definitely doesn't dislike her though. She even said she wanted Asuka to be her opponent for the 10th anniversary show but obviously Asuka going to WWE ruined those plans.

At the very least Io seems to have a lot of respect for Asuka as a wrestler and wants to work with her.

What is stardom world like? The video quality, english translations and stuff. I was thinking of subscribing.

It's not bad.
Each match, at least the more recent ones(2016 onward I think?) have a little "interview" with the girls before hand that will have subtitles.

The matches themselves are pretty good quality, they have someone taping from where the camera guy in your pic is and will sometimes be able to cut to a 2nd camera. There's no commentators at all though, which I consider a plus, since it would likely be in Japanese anyway.

There's a handful of extra videos too, Pajama Party, Tea Time, and a Janken tournament that was more entertaining than a game of rock, paper, scissors has any right to be. Plus a couple extras.


Honestly for around 6.67~ USD it's a pretty good value.

This Io Shirai vs Kairi Hojo match has commentary but it's only cause it was aired on tv. You're right though. Japanese commentators screaming their asses off at the climax of a match truly is hype, especially if the match itself is great.
