Mate when he first came and everyone raved about him I seriously didn't get it. People wanked over this guy I hadn't even seen wrestle before and nothing he really did backed up all the hype.
Mic skills weren't the best, I think he was in a feud with Jericho so even wrestling wise I wasn't impressed. But shit man, after that and as someone who genuinely hadn't seen him before, he impressed week on week. You had to take notice.
In the ring he's damn stellar and he'd bloody prove it. I think even the marks wised up to this because the reaction he gets on every Smackdown is insane. He got cheered over Shane McMahon ffs. If you've watched anything he did, it's hard not to be impressed. He's really damn good even if I'm not a mark for him. Nice theme too which helps
