Did you get your tickets, /asp/? They sold out in under 20 minutes.
>>2443396
Can't fucking wait
>>2443396
>under 20 minutes.
Based Okada making it Rain!
>>2443396
>They sold out in under 20 minutes
That sucks, I bet you can get some great seats in that high school gym for cheap. Maybe next time
I did, got a regular ticket and one meet & greet. Thing is I don't know which is for Saturday or Sunday, it just says April 1. What do?
>>2443404
they have 3,000 seat high school gyms now?
>>2443412
>3000 seats
>>2443404
Long Beach Convention Center has a seating capacity of 13500, that's your average non-Big Four WWE PPV.
>>2443404
That's cute, an E-drone bringing up low attendance figures when NJPW is literally selling out arenas in American Soil in under 20 minutes, WWE's turf. In fact, if the stadium was larger, they'd have several thousands more while RAW house shows are lucky to even draw 1,000.
>>2443406
If only there were some contraption that could tell you which date lands on which day. Someone should invent that.
>>2443425
I know of this, friend. My concern is that I wanted to buy a ticket for Sat/Sun respectively. however Ticketmaster didn't specify which date your tickets go to, only that the two-day event is on July 1. So I don't know if I got a ticket for each day or two tickets for Saturday, hence my dilemma (if you could call it that, since I still have tickets to a sold out show).
Thought tickets were 30 but there was no option. Honestly just wanted to get some merchandise. Ill go next time.
>>2443447
Next time NJPW is in America? This shit doesn't happen often.
Shit. What time did they go on sale?
>click on thread because I enjoy New Japan
>see stupid NJPW/WWE shitflinging
Every time.
>>2443454
8 AM. If you check again there are some single seats still available.
>>2443423
You're comparing a major show with a house show, idiot
The meet and greet sold out faster than the actual fucking show
>>2443585
The meet & greet costs like 10 bucks.
>>2443585
They fucked up and made the Meet/Greet tickets tied to the real tickets as a package.
>>2443527
Oh, okay. This is a picture of the Monday Night Raw attendance a few weeks ago. Want me to keep going or did you get the point?
A 13 thousand seat arena sold out for a non WWE show that fast? Is this some April Fool's day prank? I don't believe that unless I get a source.
>>2444028
that reminds me so much of a late Nitro
>>2444048
It's not the 13 thousand seat area. There's more to it.
>>2444048
They are inside a convention, they have seating only for 3000 people.
You know, they are not insane to be trying to sell out 13k arena for they FIRST show on US soil.
They went safe, get less money, but they thought, we can probably sell this out in those 3 months until our show.
WE STILL DONT KNOW THE CARD AND WONT UNTIL JUNE.
>>2444048
To be fair, the 3,000 seat arena was the one that sold out quickly and is the one they're running shows in. Still with the rate that they sold out and the impressive demand of the NJPW product, I feel they should've rented a larger arena, there's one with a 5,000 seat capacity which would've made the show even better.
>>2444062
This. But instead of selling out in three months, they did it in 20 minutes. Holy fuck, they're underestimating themselves.
>>2444062
And at WaleMania the US representative of NJPW said all belts will be defended. Or at least Meltzer said so.
SO it's not Korauken Hall house show with tags setting up something later down the line, but soemthign bigger.
>>2444066
If they make actual inroads into America I'm not sure I'll be more embarrassed for WWE's product or the fact that there's so many people starving for an alternative and TNA couldn't deliver.
>Based big draw Omega and Okada
The NJPW invasion begins, bros...
EDrones beware
>>2444066
Yeah, I understand, but now you have created shortage. And more buzz and more subs to your service.
I think they went in knowing they will be loosing money on flying everyone over and renting (or bringing) equipment.
They could have tried to make more money, but what if they failed? It would mean end to anything in the West for more years.
>>2444075
Can't fucking wait for July. Expect a white hot crowd that'll carry and show passion and a lust for Mcmahon blood. Everyone in attendance will be going to send a loud and resounding message to the WWE. It's going to be glorious.
>>2444076
Sinclair is either selling their company and ending with wrestling altogether or being ok to be third tier US wrestling product.
>>2444085
He needs a kick in the ass. He's been way too comfy lately.
>tfw wwe is going to japan this same week
who is flanking who?
>>2444098
Yes, competition will bring good booker hidden inside him. With World of Sports in UK and NJPW making real inroads to US, we can get some good wrestling out of it.
>>2444104
That's easy - you really can't take NJPW fans away from them right now. You have your answer (one of 3 answers) in your picture.
>>2443396
This hurts
I wasn't lurking for a few days and missed the announcement for this and wanted to go so fucking bad
>>2444186
Give it time, maybe they will sell some more, they will probably announce it on twitter or during upcoming big show in Japan. Listen to commentary, they will probably talk about it.
>they sold out in under 20 minutes
Probably because they only had like 5,000 tickets to sell
>>2444200
>Only 5,000 tickets to sell
>Only
>Downplaying this
Most modern TV tapings of Monday Night Raw averaged about 5,000 fans in late 2016. Things are only picking up because it's Wrestlemania season and the crowd numbers will plummet back down as usual.
>>2444221
>comparing a weekly show to a special event
lmao
>>2444231
>trying to compare relativity when WWE has no excuse in general to get number that low ANYWHERE
Fellow E-drone to another, shut the fuck up anon.
WWE is in a bad state
>>2444028
Go easy on the E Drone, bro!
Wouldn't want to see him go on suicide watch lmfao!
>>2444325
I'm not an e-drone, I was just pointing out the flaw in his shitty argument
Pretty impressive for a company with minimal tv in the us. Shows that online does reach people.
>>2444104
They're flanking each other. A large portion/majority of puro fans over there watch WWE and will go to the shows, I'm sure. WWE does well on Japanese tours. And it was a foregone conclusion that the NJPW shows in the US would sell out quickly. The NA fanbase is on the rise since the release of the english site and the s i x s t a r s.
