Just finished through the Smackdown route on Day of Reckoning. It's exactly like the Raw route, which is disappointing considering they could have done something different or unique. They also push tag-team matches, which got really fucking old because the tag partner would always run in and break up the pin before you could win. Doesn't help that your partner is always useless.

It's a shame because I think DoR is a really fun game with good gameplay. Story just fucking sucks

SvR 05-11 & WWE 12-13 were developed by THQ & Yukes. Then in 2013, 2K took over development in place of THQ and brought us the sluggish, unfun, ugly, barely playable game series we now know as WWE 2K.

The main line of WWE video games went to shit once 2K took over development. To this day I would much rather play SvR 2006 than a new WWE 2K game. THQ knew how to balance realistic gameplay with fun gameplay. Fuck 2K. They ruin every series of Sports games they touch.
