Lita was a whore and Edge was a backstabbing cunt. It's a common occurrence in everyday life because human beings are pussies for the most part, and would rather fuck around than break it off honestly.

Edge was wrong for fucking his friend's woman (not to mention cheating on his wife while doing it). And don't give me that "well she would have just cheated with someone else anyway if it wasn't Edge". That is exactly what a REAL friend would have told her to go and do, while rejecting her. I lost all respect for him after that whole thing.

Lita was a cheating whore. Easily the worst person in the whole situation. I lost all respect for her after that, too.

Matt was wrong for getting extra emotional and cringey over the whole thing, and not having a quick, clean break-up with Lita as well as simply ending his friendship with Edge, instead of allowing it to turn into a full-blown feud for everyone else's entertainment. That whole scandal should have never been allowed to be an angle, and I solely blame Matt for allowing that to happen.

While I understand where you're coming from here, I really think allowing it to be a storyline was ultimately good for all three of them in the long run. It helped breathe new life into their characters, and gave them all more longevity. Edge and Lita got a shit ton of heat, while Matt got over with the crowd who supported him in the whole mess. Before that whole thing, Matt especially was slowly sinking into irrelevancy.

Why does real backstage cheating always become a storyline angle. You would think these guys would be disgusting by the suggestion of it. At least Steph didn't advertise on national tv she was a slag when she did it.
