Video games were a nerd hobby during that time period as well. Now, they're mainstream and rival Hollywood. Don't blame other people for you being behind the times.

Okay check this shit out: Wrestlers back in the 60's and 70's were strong people, not very athletic but in all actuality strong enough to lift 300 lbs people. Anyone whose worked in a steel mill can do this shit.. But promoters and talent scouts were trying to be more cutting edge in order to put more butts in the seats. they figured it out sometime in the late 70's to implement carne workers in the main event. WWF really took off with the freak shows.

We had characters like: Macho Man and Doink and Ultimate Warrior and Roddy Piper. Do a comparison of these characters with wrestlers from 60's and 70's.. They're wacky and loony. Of course this business attracted coke fiends. They were glorified Carne's. They sold the show and you all ate it up like gullible imbeciles.

You get it yet? The WWE had to change its business module before things got out of hand.. They might not be on cable TV anymore if they continued on that path.
