I really wish Umarex made a model like this based on the Ruger Blackhawk models, they're the goddamn epitome of the Single Action, fixed cylinder revolver, with clear and adjustable sights, a transferbar, and much stronger chamber walls and lockup (though the last two don't really apply or are as important with airguns).

Like, it's rated to shoot .45 Super (.45ACP with a stronger case so you can have a really hot powder load), and the gun is one of the most robust polymer framed automatics ever made, this thing will outlive any 1911.

So you have a strongly built gun, it's semi-automatic, short-recoil, and with an extended barrel (like maybe 12" long), and a stock, you have a fast carbine with easy enough recoil that puts out a heavy 230gr projectile at quite high speeds.
I can think of very genuine applications for something like this, like hunting hogs or defense. Only fits like 12 rounds but it's not like you couldn't invent a bigger magazine.

Actually I think largely you can't go too wrong with either. Thompsons are notoriously quite good guns out of the box. And then, of course, Cymas are pretty well known for their AK's. I'd pick whichever you like better bearing in mind that both will need upgrading to be really good. I'm actually probably going to be buying a Cyma Thompson soon too.

I have a weaird problem with my g&p xm177, after i got it fixed at a airsoft store like a auear ago when i tested it the bbs went to the right, to such an extent that if i shot at pic related from 5 m distance and aiming at the left target, i would hit the one next to it. I asumed they had done something wrong to the inner barrel but the airsoft store is a 6 hour drive away so i forgot about it. Then when i took it out and shot like a month ago it shot as straight as ever. When i shot it today it was to the right again. But when i shot with a diferent magazine it was slightly less to the right. Can it be the magazines fault? I have 10 of them

Look the magazine placement. The mag is pretty much the last thing on the stock of the gun. It's rear practically touches the buttpad. There is no room for a motor here. This means that you would have to redesign the entire gearbox from scratch because you will need to make it loads shorter. The alternative would be a BB transfer tube allowing the bbs to transfer a significant distance forwards toward the nozzle, but that is kind of a cop out. Even with that, you would need a V7 gearbox because there still is no room for your motor because thats where the mag is.

The V7 hopup is magic sauce though.

I have a Chinese unbranded ACOG, and it does the job nicely enough, it points in the right direction and magnifies. Though I wouldn't buy anything more complicated than that, because you get what you pay for, and stuff like reflex sights are inherently more complex.

What's the general consensus on drum mags, and what is a solid one?

Personally I shoot until they call their hits, if I'm hit back I call it and go back pretending I don't care.
What pisses me off is reverse hit calling. Not getting into a pissing contest with some mad faggot is one thing, but bowing down and calling yourself out because some asshole thinks his gun is magical really pisses me off, especially when he has a bunch of his butt-buddies taking his side blindly. Females are also guilty of that, they probably think if their gun shoots 350FPS then the BB travels at 350FPS until it hits something.

I've played at night at both AMS and Milsim West events, and I can say that MSW was a much better experience. But I think it's more to do with the dedication to the game that's basically a requirement going in. At MSW, everyone does a fairly good job at calling hits and not being salty in the moment. You'll have people bitching in private to friends and squadmates, and maybe some generalized salt at the end, but in the moment, peeps do a very good job about staying in character. The fact that people also will tend to collapse or act out their getting hit also helps in recognizing hits called, so overshooting is usually a matter of trying to hit the guy next to you who's still alive than anything. At night it's not that much different because it's easier and better to disengage than waste ammo on a bunch of guys you aren't even sure are still there.

On the other hand, AMS was much more confused and frustrated. This might be in part the pacing of the game, because MSW basically starts off with low-light into night time shenanigans, while AMS jumps right into it and by the time you're in low-light to night conditions, you're basically in the thick of it for hours, hungry, and waiting for the day to end so you can go back to your hotel room and shower. The red light rules for AMS don't help things much.

Futureball runs Airsoft in whitmore lake. Motor city Airsoft just opened an outdoor field in Fenton. Airsoft has made major strides in Michigan the last fiew years.

The field starts at around 8:00 or 9:00 AM and goes through to about 5:00 PM, we got forest and town areas, plus a bunch of different guns to rent ranging from a standard Stag arms M4 to P90's. The people that play there are separated into three categories. Cony's child soldiers, marines and military servicemen, and teenagers in military families, with the wildcard being non military airsoft players such as myself. Most everyone is willing to help in whatever way they can to help you make a decision, and you will most certainly find a group to fit in with. the fee for entry all day is $10. As for your first gun, I'd suggest two different routes instead of buying new. First is to rent a gun from the shop, get a feel for them to find one that works well for you and spend your time at the field talking to people about what they think would be a good first gun. Second would be to get a cheap used gun online like Lejeune yard sales or letgo. They may have wear, but they will work, and for their price it can very well be worth it. It's how I got my F2000 for peanuts. If you have any more questions let me know.

That's a tough one, I switch constantly depending on the need. My historically accurate/ beater gun is a JG M733. My gucci tacticool gun is a custom PRI delta 9". I have a lot of others for other cases such as long range, CQC, and mid range. I even have a shield for specific instances where a mobile wall is required

People lie all the time about that kind of thing because they don't want to spend the effort to actually figure out what is wrong so they will say they've tried everything or they will say whatever they think it will take to get the item replaced or returned. The reason these small companies will make you jump through a couple hoops is because if they don't they will be inundated with bogus returns. paying employees to test all the returned products, swapping out perfectly good equipment and paying to ship that equipment can take up a huge amount of a small businesses resources and money. Better to make the customer do some of the work to make sure they are dealing with a real warranty situation than raise prices on products to recoup the money lost to bogus returns.
