The only wrestling games I play are WCW/nWo Revenge, WM 2000, and occasionally Mayhem. I realize Mayhem is considered bad, but eh, nostalgia. I fell off on the modern WWE games when they were just the same shit every year.

Seriously, go look back at JBI, SYM, HCTP, and SVR. Each game steadily improves and has an entirely different feel from the previous. The modern ones just feel like the same thing with a few new things. Plus, I think the gameplay is too slow and boring.

god tier : SVR 07, 08,09, HCTP
above avg tier : every other SVR game besides the first one, 2k15
decent tier: every other smackdown game, wwe13, svr number 1 or " 05 "
shit tier: 2k series, wwe12

N64 games for gameplay.
2k17 for customisation
Just bring it - WWE '12 for story mode

Played all of them from Shut Your Mouth to WWE 2K15. The last good game was WWE 13.

Day of Reckoning was great. I didn't own a Playstation, so I felt like I was missing out on all the yearly releases. Glad DoR was a thing though

Pretty much every game is like this now, innovation has been stifled for the all mighty dollar.
