Everyone's a smark nowadays, so no, not really. Smarks have become so numerous, in fact, that they've spilt into a number of smaller splinter groups. Meltzer marks are just one of these groups. They don't actually enjoy watching wrestling, they just jerk off over ratings and turnovers and the amount of merch everyone is selling. They're on a similar level of cringeworthiness to another big subsection of smarks; the ever contrarian anti-smark. And of course, just below them in terms of annoyingness are the reddit-going Full Sail types who will cheer for literally anything as long as it's on NXT and can't keep HHH's cock out of their mouth for any extended period of time.
