I think deadly games is not only one the most edge of your seat entertaining ppvs ever..
It is also the most consequential, most story line developing, most must see what tomorrow night has in store ppv ever.
Awesome ppv, awesome music, awesome beginning to the mania main event, months in advance

SummerSlam 2002

ONS 05 was so good. Is old ECW like that? Never really watched it but I have the network and might give it a shot now

Yep this was dope. Pretty much all the PPVs in 2000 were good to great with the exception of Mania.
They would have actually stopped the match today.
It's Russo's masterpiece.

It varies. ECW at it's best is something that no one had seen before, ECW at it's worst is worse than anything from late WCW by a long shot.
1996 is probably their best overall year.

The first PPV I ever saw (on VHS).
Also GOAT stage. I wish WWE would bring back the custom stages for PPVs again.

ECW was raw as fuck with limited production values but fun to watch. The glory years are 94-96, although the quality of production and wrestling improved a lot from mid-98 until Anarchy Rulez 2000. After that they were running on empty with decent but not amazing shows.
Heatwave 98, Anarchy Rulez 99 and Living Dangerously 99 are recommended viewing
