1. If WWE releases Paige for videos and pictures getting shared without her consent, then they would be "blaming the victim", and seen as sexist since, they didn't fire Rollins when his nudes were leaked.

2. If WWE releases her, they still have to pay her guaranteed money to back out of the contract.

3. If they release Paige, choose to go through with the movie and Paige doesn't earn any profit from it she can easily sue Dwayne and WWE for some shekels.

Rock will go on with the movie, unless the stuff they already filmed is complete garbage.

It's his project and he will score points in Hollywood with him standing up to internet bullies, leakers and hackers. He will be the knight in shining armor not giving up on poor young girl who has such a difficult life.

It's quite good marketing ploy. The movie was probably going to be shit, her story is well known from the other documentary. I m not sure how much kayfabe breaking would be in his movie, if he would go full on secrecy mode it would suck balls.

Now he has publicity if he can make good on it on monday.
