He "refused to do business" with Hogan because he knew he'd politic his way into winning the match. He "refused to do business" with Lesnar because the match would have been on a random Raw with no build up. Austin has had to fought for his spot since day 1 whereas schmucks like Hogan got shit literally handed to him.

Austin is the undisputed GOAT. He drew the biggest dimes of them all in the most star studded era of all time. In centimeters it all makes sense, you don't lose necessary data and at the same time you don't have some unncecessary and unseeable informations.
