ITT: Gimmicks that could have worked if only there was better

Not a gimmick per se, but the whole "Make the entire program be about the three ex-members of the Shield" thing could've worked with better guys.

I would literally beg to differ. He's incredibly charismatic, it's not what he says but how he says it, and he connects with the audience better than anybody. The fact he can get away with, and get over with, the same -OPENING- every week is a testament to that. Plus he writes his own shit.
