Why does everybody stare at it all the time, bros? It's not like it does anything.
It makes every wrestler on the card look like they are halfwits or something when they stand there slack-jawed and slowly raise a pointy finger towards it.
Couldn't they at least make it flash or something?
It's another one of Vince's autistic obsessions
WHAT A WRESTLEMANIA MOMENT THIS COULD BE!
>>2358183
A good visual that has also become tradition starting on the road to WMXX
>>2358210
Or a once-good visual that has become hackneyed from 12 years of over-use.
>>2358183
They are getting it ready for Naito
When he wins in 2019 he will not stare at the sign but he'll spit at it
>>2358214
No it's still a really good and iconic shot.
You are just looking for trivial things to complain about.
>>2358183
He's not pointing to the sign, that is stupid.
He is pointing to the "Make A Wish" section of the crowd in order to instill hope in their frail bodies.
>>2358218
The shot is fine. Have cameras pull back to a wideshot and get it in the background, naturally, any time you like.
The bit that is hack is when they direct every wrestler to pause, turn, and slow point at it. The only thing I am thinking of in that moment is a nativity play with a six year old dressed as a wise man pointing at the star in the night sky.
>>2358227
Then that's an issue with the wrestlers pointing at it, and not the sign itself
>>2358231
Aaaand, welcome to the thread.
The shot has been ruined by anti-draws like Carder doing it
>>2358227
Getting angry at this is like getting mad of a wrestler holding the title over their head after a victory.
Pointing off into the distance like that has always symbolized a destination that one will make come hell or high water, it's "moving forward" in this case that destination is Wrestlemania.
A wrestler pointing to the sign showcases the journey they are taking. It's theatric, yeah but that's what pro wrestling IS, it's theater.
You want to remove a very good, iconic and symbolic gesture because many people have done it already which is retarded reasoning.
With that said, it would be pretty cool to see something like >>2358216 one day just for contrast.
>>2358218
It looks fine in pictures, but when done live, it's fucking cringe and hackneyed.
They're advertising Wrestlemania you autistic dimwitted fools.
>>2358243
It's really stupid and hokey
>>2358248
No shit. But do they have to do it in a way that is so forced and badly acted that it feels like a scene from Garth Marenghi's Darkplace?
>>2358210
Anyone who actually likes wrestling as an artform no longer watches WWE for this reason. I'm mostly into NJPW (Japan's biggest wrestling company) and PWG at this point.
>>2358327
>wrestling
>artform
have sex
>>2358327
The "wrestling is an artform" thing is seriously one of the most cringeworthy things I've ever heard. It's dumb entertainment for us retards.
>>2358327
cringe
>>2358210
>A good visual that has also become tradition starting on the road to WMXX
Its been run into the ground at this point. It has no meaning. They should limit it to one a year so it can have value.

Unfortunately, your viewers are a minority too, Vince.
