Hickenbottom produced the record lowest rating ever, couldn't fill the Alamo dome on his home town, buried other potential draws out of jealousy and faked injuries out of spite.
Bret got the title and ratings did not drop, they either stayed the same or increased and was always willing to put people over who deserved it, even making people look good in defeat. See examples: Diesel, Xpac, and of course Steve Austin. He did what was right for the business at all times and those who defend Dick in bottom can suck some kliq dick.
