What are the greatest wrestling games ever?

It begins and ends with the THQ/AKI games for the N64.

Everything before and after was utter trash.

I dunno about "greatest" but it's my favorite. I wish the WWF hadn't snatched the license away from them cause I'd kill for a WCW game with all the features of WM 2000. As in a proper CAW mode and a season mode.

Raw 2 is kinda under rated, its held back by really mediocre gameplay going by wrestling game standard.

However the campaign gives a extreme amount of freedom and literally anything can happen. I remember Lita somehow got into a ladder match for the WWE title and won. Since women and men couldn't wrestle each normally, the wwe title became the womens title for nearly 2 seasons before another weird inter gender triple threat.

Create a character was great for the time and no game yet has fully beaten the create a entrance feature, at least as far as everything else besides animations.

WrestleMania 19 on the Gamecube for one reason and one reason only

Revenge Mode!

You get fired from WWE, so you go around destroying WWE property and doing wrestling moves on security guards, builders, dock workers who all apparently work for Vince, then you hurl them to their deaths off cranes, docks, buildings, etc.

It's incredible.
The best part was you unlocked the stages for multiplayer so you could have four player matches on a ship trying to climb up to a briefcase, or in the parking garage where there's cars driving past you have to throw your opponents in front of.

The THQ/Aki games from N64 are basically my favorite fighting games ever, they are so much fun, and all the gameplay and shit from modern games looks dreery and shit tier to me.

this seems to be the PERFECT place to ask, what's a good wrestling game for PS4 /PS3?, customization and gameplay being important, as in freedom, bleeding, weird matches, anything that's fun, graphics aren't an issue.
