what happened to sleeper holds and the hand raising thing?
>>2325762
I'm with you on that. Either the person in the sleeper goes out with little fighting, or fights out of it, like when Charlotte uses the leg sleeper. The three arm raise at least help build tension. Thing is, outside of Ziggler, has anyone recently had a sleeper or Cobra Clutch type hold actually get a win?
It's out of fashion. Give it a couple years when someone uses it extremely well and you'll see more
I smiled when Rock did it against Cena because I hadn't seen it in so long. Felt nostalgic.

Didn't that fat Asian bag lady do it on Bayley on her last match at NXT?

Braun and Rusev
>>2325762
Guys don't get gassed as much so there's really no need for a rest spot for so long. But you're gonna see it more often when Braun's involved. Roman often gets a sleeper on him too.
...because this is how you actually win a Judo, BJJ or MMA match, and people are actually educated on how to spot when a legit blood choke happens these days.

so people might think pro wrestling is fake?
>>2327310
No, it isn't that. Because pro wrestling is real, but because we know more about brane damage, a more educated audience expects the ref to stop the match immediately to prevent permanent harm, instead of doing hand raising thing.

You do know you're talking about a kids show right
>>2327389
>we know more about brane damage
You clearly have first-hand experience.

>tfw no hulking up out of a hold anymore

Bayley lost to Asuka
>>2327389
>Because pro wrestling is real
>two wrestlers exit ring
>ref begins count
>one wrestler re-enters ring
>ref stops counting the other wrestler
This bugs the fuck out of me. It's a recent thing too.
