It essentially was when you think about it. Big Show was only there for all of them to gang up on and eliminate quickly, making him seem like the monster competitor in the end. Foley's elimination was just for the "oh no now he has to leave forever" hoopla and get the sentimental feeling going in the crowd.

In the end it really was a Rock vs HHH match anyway. HHH gets the unfair heel win as usual to work the crowd, Vince goes back to being a based heel, and The Rock beats up all the mcMahons ending it with a Peoples Elbow on Steph.

I can see why the way they booked it, to get every type of emotion and reaction from the crowd. But it was executed poorly and not having Austin or Taker involved definitely didn't make things better.

It was the worst PPV of the year but still decent, they were on fire in 2000. It's better than any PPV in 2016/17
