Why aren't wrestling rings softer/padded?
I mean we know it's fake - why keep hurting wrestlers?
there is mat on top of the wood and the ring has a spring, it doesnt need to be softer

>softer/padded?
They are? I don't get it, what's the problem here? You think the rings are just planks of wood with a fabric cover over it? Than you're an idiot.
It's stable and differentiates pussies from men

Padding would make it harder to wrestle and keep a stable footing. Have you ever tried to do anything athletic on a padded floor? Makes it a lot trickier. It'd probably end up causing more botches and ironically, more injuries.
Trampoline rings are the future.

There is a layer of padding over the wood but under the canvas.
It's about a quarter inch of foam padding.
Enough to provide some give but still thin enough so that when you step on it you step down to the wood and get a steady footing.
When people talk about Ring rust this is actually one of the main factors in it, people remember rings as being harder than they are because they remember the bumps.

KO and Gallows?
They could always go with a plastic base rather than wood since it could he just as sturdy but with more give, not likely to happen though
Yeah let's make it a bouncy castle so more numale indie midgets will get signed

The wood is just the base for stability dunce.
