NXT was better when it was a dumb reality show that everyone already with the company obviously hated participating in and actively mocked
the season with all the terrible womens wrestling was the best.

The Season when Phil commentated was my favorite season.
2013-2014 nxt was GOAT as far as the weekly show goes
I remember that season when Johnny Curtis won and he was supposed to get a tag team title match with his pro, but never did.
I agree

You mean the one with the Horsewomen?

No, the one with aksana and goldust

NXT Season 3, a.k.a. the only time I enjoyed Michael Cole on commentary

>Hi, I'm Johnny Curtis and I have a chip on my shoulder
>standing there with a literal potato chip on his shoulder
About the only thing I remember of him until Fandango. I think they had planned for Clay or someone else to win - I have no idea who would vote for him

Sure it was OP, a shitty, half assed gameshow with challeneges that made no sense was better than the huge, popular brand it is today. I like the idea of NXT, I really did, but the execution was completely non-existant.
> NXT Season 5: Redemption
> People from previous seasons compete ONLY for a spot on season 6
> Darren Young joins, despite already having a main roster contract
> Lasts 60+ weeks, making it longer than every other season combined
> Basically became a show revolving around the last 3 guys and a glorified Superstars
What the fuck happened here? Seriously? Did the writers forget NXT was still going on?

I thought this happened in season 3 which was why it was so fun
