>>2270234
That was kind of the point of it. It was always obvious it wasn't meant to last but Jericho was such an oblivious doofus that he really believed. Even if we were in on it he wasn't, and we just watched him get his heart broken like we always knew it would. A plot turn doesn't have to be unexpected to work.
>>2270076
It was all fun and games until Jericho lowered his voice and started saying Kevin made the last year one of the best of his career and that he truly loved him, it felt so fucking sincere I felt legitimately bad for him during the beating.
It's the year 2017 and I got worked. I love it, Maggle.
>>2270234
damn you're a bitter shit
>>2270287
I accept this finish, based sasha with the crutch interference lmao
Testament to Jericho. We've seen this kind of segment enough times to expect cringeworthy shit, but Jericho made it work and knocked it out of the park with his delivery and the sudden mood change. If this was his send off before going back to fozzy stuff, I'd say he left it all in the ring for that segment.
>>2270672
He's only going away after Mania, him and Kevin are obviously having a blow off there.

>Here is the biggest present I am going to give you, I'm gonna GUARANTEE you that at FastLane you're going to beat Goldberg because I'm going to make sure of it. Ok? I've got your back everytime. Just like I did with Sami Zayn, and Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins and all of them. You always come out on top because I always have your back. Alright? Ok? And at Fastlane you will beat Goldberg because I've got your back. Ok? And you know why? It's cause you're my best friend. Even more so you're my brother. You're my brother ok? and I love you man honestly, I really do. And I'm gonna have your back always. That's never gonna change.
>>2270862
>Jericho's been gold the last 3 or 4 times he's come back.
Yeah, he wasn't. Even the supposed good matches he had were terrible like his match against Punk at Payback.

They have mostly just matches, if you want like episodes of RAW in their entirety with the proper filler to storylines then yeah I'd consider the 9.99 investment.
>>2270978

>"he should have instead gotten him a gift card for the WWE networkâ„¢ for only $9.95USD now available at walmart and participating gamestop locations"
These commentators are really killing the buzz.
How I would book it is have Kevin next week or the week before Fast Lane whenever it is, and volunteer Jericho for a US title match to Stephanie. Lets say Zayn or someone who can have the belt next. Have KO cost him the match and let Jericho lose the title. Now at Fast Lane there is some kind of ref bump and both Goldberg and KO are down. Jericho comes in to screw over Kevin, but in fact attacks goldberg. Goldberg kills Jericho but KO gets a cheeky roll up or something unclean and leaves with the belt. After the match or on the following raw have a segment where it looks like KO might forgive Jericho, but attacks him anyways, which cements the feud for mania.
This does 3 things, gets rid of the US belt off Jericho who is leaving.
Lets KO keep the title, because honestly Goldberg vs Lesnar doesn't need a title
and lastly makes sure the WM blow off isn't title for title because thats lame.
>>2270993
You can watch the AE entirely at watchwrestling.tc
So this is all a ruse again r-right? They're just making it look like they're not friends anymore so Jericho can get Goldberg DQed and Kevin can retain again yeah? That's the plan again right? Right???

It'll be shit for a couple of months, then the draft will come and they'll steal the best things smackdown has going like AJ and Bray.
So is KO going to lose the title at Fastmeme and then beat Jericho for the US title at Mania?
Is that what we're working toward?
>>2270076
>>2271496
Jericho demands a match with KO, only agrees if Jericho puts his title on the line. Jericho does so, has Owens beat at mania but hesitates before the final blow. Owens capitalises and kills him deader than dead.
Literally wrestling art
>>2270158
>Corey Graves is so good he's literally saving Raw's commentary guys!
>"Stop it Kevin. No."
Raw Graves is as much of a shill as Cole, even worse because he's new and has zero freedom. At least Cole can pretend to sound invested, and he's not even color commentary
>>2271026
Goldberg will win though. KO will take the US belt off Jericho at Mania. Maybe with Y2J's career on the line too to put some extra heat on Owens.
>>2270106
This.
>>2271765
Contract expires after Mania no? Also, knowing jericho, end on a high note? Leave them wanting more like michaels?
>>2270076
>>2271765
Jericho has always said that he wants no one to know when he retires. He just wants to ride off into the sunset and not have a big deal made out of it.
I don't know if I believe him though. Jericho is such a glitz and glamour guy. He has the extremely loud light up jacket, he has the over the top persona, he is rock and roll even in real life. So I can't imagine him turning down a huge Mania send off if Vince ever offered him one.
>>2270978

>>2271778
I didn't mean like his retirement. It was said he would go do music shit again after Mania so putting his career on the line would only mean to go on a break.
Now that I think about it though. At his age every run could be his last so who knows maybe he wants to keep it more open.
