With New Japan planning a US territory, would it be out of the realm of possibility for them to try to sign away some underused WWE midcarders or maybe a guy who wants to wrestle again like pic related? Also, on just a hypothetical sense, could signing guys like Bryan or Punk help legitamize the brand? If anybody else has some interesting ideas on what NJPW USA would be like post them.
OP here but I'm hyped as fuck for a NJ territory because the plan is for it to run shows in California and I live here.

Cm punk and d bry are retired juniors.

I'm sure if bushiroad shelled out the money and a good schedule they would be down.

They can't offer more than WWE. Also not a fan of small or light dudes main eventing. One of the reasons Njpw fails in getting old fans back. Besides national tv on late night not happening.
It's going to be 75 percent gaijin and 25 percent asian.

Punk and Bryan might be smaller guys are stars in the wrestling scene. I'm sure that would be enough for Gedo or whoever is booking to look past size. On WWE paying more, that can't be argued. Idk I'm just throwing ideas out there.

>who is AJ Styles

Never sold out non g1 sumo halls. Most of Njpw success is bushi roads extra tv and ads.
Anybody think they could sign someone like a Cesar or Ziggler?

>highest attendance ever for each PPV he main evented
he didn't sell out all the time but he was for sure a big draw

Nah. Kota was.
None was 12000 filled.
Tired of juniors escaping their division.

>Dontaku 2014 - AJ vs Okada: 7,000
>Dontaku 2015 - Nak vs Goto: 5,000
>Dontaku 2016 - Naito vs Ishii: 5,000
drop
>New Beginning 2015 - AJ vs Tana: 7,000
>New Beginning 2016 - Okada vs Goto: 5,000
drop
>Invasion Attack 2015 - AJ vs Kota: 9,500
>Invasion Attack 2016 - Okada vs Naito: 9,000
drop
>Dominion 2015 - AJ vs Okada: **11,000**
>Dominion 2016 - Naito vs Okada: 9,000
drop
In case you don't understand, the year after AJ main evented a PPV was a decrease in attendance. You're welcome.
I admit I am partially wrong about one PPV though, KOPW for 2014 and 2015 he did kind of bad.

Why does Okada draw better when he's facing anyone but Naito? It's almost like Naitetty isn't really a draw.
>>2171813
Naito is over and a merch seller but not a huge draw.
NJ should bring good asians, top mexican wrestles and try to hire TNA people.
