It's ridiculous and silly and fun, and people smashing lighttubes over each other's heads is just cool
Also for some weird reason a lot of deathmatch wrestlers are really fucking charismatic, more so than a lot of regular wrestlers. Jun Kasai has more charisma in his no-longer-functioning dick than most of the WWE main event combined
