If they got 1.0s they would get less from the network because companies would not pay as much to have adverts on a show with that few viewers so it has a direct effect that much is undeniably true.

Smackdown is beating RAM in ratings slowly, so they desperatly try to bring back as many part timers as possible, while Smackdow focuses on actual story and character development.
