2. Cena is closer to the camera, a common trick for making actors look bigger
So they ARE both within 1-2 inches of each other, but a camera trick is being used to make Cena look larger than Michaels.

It's surprisingly difficult to find a non-angled picture of Cena & Punk facing each other, but I'd imagine if there is a height difference it would be because Punk wore flat boots whereas Cena typically wears basketball shoes, which would give about an inch boost to his height.

All boots raise height a bit, most guys always wear some sort of lift, even cowboy boots always have heels.

Cena and Punk are both 6'1'' Punk on the low side and Cena on the high side of it. You can see Cena's ankles at all times and that he is not lifted.

Shawn is a little shorter than other guys, everyone has known this for a long time. Anyone that thinks Cena and HBK are the same height, or that Cena or Punk are 5'11, don't have a clue what they are talking about.
