Hideo Itami: I have to clarify I REALLY don't want them to release him but unless they give him a different role I doubt they will put him back into the ring. I think he'll get the Daniel Bryan treatment but with out the main roster popularity to keep him and that makes me really sad for ol' Kenta. I hope I'm wrong on this one because I'd love to see him in the cruiser-weight scene.

He was out for over a year due to a shoulder Injury while still in NXT, he returned and ended up out with a serious neck injury in a few weeks.

Its stupid but the higher ups in WWE view the wrestlers in NXT as future investments and if they feel that the investment won't pay eventually on the main roster they are may let people go.

Bray and Orton may get injured often on the main roster but they have already been established as big names on the main roster. Hideo may be over but he hasn't gotten past NXT yet and hes already been out the majority of the time he's been signed to WWE.

I personally think he'll be back and ready to get in the ring when the time comes but the officials at WWE may not want to risk putting him back into a big spot after hes already been seriously injured twice in NXT.

I really hope I'm wrong but if Daniel Bryan wasn't going to be allowed back in the ring even after taking the main roster by storm its entirely possible Hideo may not be allowed back as well.
