HBGay main evented Wrestlemania 23 which has the highest domestic buyrate of all time and the second highest overall. Undercarder main evented three Wrestlemania's and none of them got more buys than the previous year including one being the record low.

You can argue it was only because of Trump but Taker had Floyd Mayweather for WM24 actually in a match and he couldn't match the 23 buyrate

i used to think it was Undertaker who was the bigger star but when you dig deeper into the numbers, it was always Shawn. even in his later years Shawn was a more consistent buyrate draw than Taketty
