ITT: real main events that didn't go on last
>>2001454
>It's a Gaytch main events a WM and gets BTFO by a match before episode
Same shit with 25 and 32
>>2001457
>32
I don't even remember what match happened b4 HHH and Reigns, actually the Main Event is the only match I do remember from that Mania
>>2001457
>every 7 years
What match is gonna BTFO him at WM39?
>>2001471
Shane jumping off the cell and the coast to coast got a bigger reaction than anything during that match unless you count them being booed out of the building
Considering control of the company was on the line it should have went last but HHH did the "muh title should always go on last" excuse again

Both the WWE and World championship matches were better

literally B-show tier PPV main events
Shawn vs Ric was a once in a lifetime match
the go home RAW made it seem like the real main event

It's not an excuse tho, the top Title should ALWAYS go on last. Plus the Taker and Shane HIAC match was garbage.
>It's a guy jumps off the Cell spot for the 100th time
>le coast to coast
Shit was ass and is the most forgettable Taker WM match in the 21st century
>>2001497
>the top Title should ALWAYS go on last
t. Triple H
you literally can't find any reason for example for Hogan/Rock not closing the show
>It was the two main draws
>It closed the go home show
>They were on all the promotional posters
And yet Triple H went last because "muh title". There was precedent to the most important match going on last, WM26 (because Gaytch got BTFO'd the Mania before by the same match). Nobody cares what you thought of the match quality because it got the biggest pops of the night besides the legends returning while HHH/Roman was drowned out in boos

>Taker vs Shane was more forgettable than Taker vs Mark Henry and Taker vs A-Train and Big Show
