I enjoyed the entrance and the squash. I used to watch matches like this all the time when I was a kid so I'm not even phased by it.

Today's smarks are used to 20 minutes of back and forth so much that they think this is what *every* match should be like. I liked the novelty of it, and obviously the shock factor. Screw the notion of "hurr it should be a younger guy" the younger guy who should have beaten Brock is Roman but smarks completely took a dump on that so Vince let them know what he really thinks. After the time they've invested in building it up, they were never going to cancel it, so they left them with two choices. Am I wrong in thinking Brock had it coming? He had gotten increasingly stale over the past two years and never put a single drop of effort into anything he did. It's now late 2016, and Brock has plateaued since the Cena victory. He hasn't gotten any stronger, he's just participated in dull squash matches. It's a good thing Bill wrecked him, in kayfabe terms. It gives Brock a chance to be an interesting character once again.
