This. Cenas reign of terror turned me off wrestling for years. Even worse, now that I am back I realized vince put all his eggs in the "top babyface" basket and hasn't built anybody else up.

Cena brought the ratings up from Gaytch's mid 02-early 05 run from mid 05-08, and he did it with much less big names on the roster

No, WWE did by not making a new star on his level. But his first few years did much better than what came right before him, then it became a matter of overexposure. Nobody has ever stayed on top as long as him besides Hogan who got booed at the end.
